1985

Founded — Aviation

AAA & Sons begins in Kuwait, evaluating and representing international firms in a then-emerging aviation sector.

1994

Lufthansa Technik

The group secures aircraft service agreements with Lufthansa Technik, serving local airlines before expanding across the GCC and MENA.

2000s

Infrastructure

Joint ventures with PERI Scaffolding and Louis Berger begin, introducing world-class formwork, design and supervision to Kuwait.

2016

Oil & Gas

Abdul Kareem Al-Mutawa International is created to bridge global engineering houses — Asprofos, Viking — and Kuwait's energy sector.

Abdulkarim Al-Mutawa

Chairman & Director of Aviation

Abdulkareem is a passionate, seasoned consultant with more than thirty-five years of experience navigating the Kuwait market. He began his career with the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development as Senior Economist and Senior Advisor to the Director General.

From 1993 onwards he focused on the aviation sector, growing AAA & Sons into one of the most-sought after representatives in the field. He has served as Chairman or Board Member for Kuwait Pipe Industries & Oil Services, Falcon Aviation Company (Switzerland), Al Wataniya Development & Investment Holdings (Libya), Al Telal Real Estate, and Philipp Holzmann Contracting (Kuwait/Germany).

Hamad Al-Mutawa

Director of Infrastructure

A civil engineer by trade, Hamad is a strategic, technical thinker with a comprehensive, details-oriented approach to project management. He previously served as Regional Director at the Louis Berger head office.

He was instrumental in developing AAA & Sons' infrastructure sector with Louis Berger — involved from bidding and design through to project completion. He also serves as a board member of the JV company AAA/LB.

Bandar Al-Mutawa

Director of Oil & Gas

A business-development consultant with wide-ranging experience across industries. Dynamic and results-oriented, Bandar is renowned for formulating and implementing innovative strategies that optimize opportunities and maximize sustained profitability.

Previously an Analyst at Global Investment House (Asset Management) and Chief Operating Officer at Castle Technologies. He has been an integral part of expanding AAA & Sons into the energy sector, and serves as board member for several tech-focused start-ups.
